Ride To Work provides transportation assistance for people who need reliable transportation to get to and from work in Oconee County.
Our transportation support is specifically for getting you to work and back home from work.
We primarily provide service in the Seneca, Westminster and Walhalla area of Oconee County, South Carolina.
Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis, and ride support is limited by our available schedule.

Seneca Transit System
The Seneca Transit System offers free rides for life sustaining services within the town of Seneca and a 1-mile area. Rides to and from work are also provided at a cost of $5 per ride. Call 864-332-5424 at least 48 hours before you need the ride.

Rides to Medical Appointments
For those on MEDICAID, call 1-866-910-7688 for a ride to/from medical appointment. Call 3 days before the ride is needed: M-F 8am-5pm.
Special Rider Services for Seniors
For those over 60 years old, Senior Solutions provides ride services (there is a fee). For more information call 864-885-1000, M-F 8am-5pm.
BEFORE APPLYING PLEASE CONFIRM THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
Ride To Work is a SHORT TERM ministry to help people achieve the dignity of work as part of God’s loving plan for each of us. We expect riders to find their own transportation within 2-3 months either through saving for a vehicle or finding a carpool.
Rides are ONLY to and from work in OCONEE COUNTY, South Carolina primarily within the Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster area. No stops other than workplace are allowed. Ride support is limited by schedule availability and each application is considered on a case by case basis. It typically takes at least 48 hours before the first ride can be provided once an application is accepted.
Riders must have their OWN talk and text phone and keep it with them at all times.
Riders will be charged $5 or $10 per day depending on the length of their rides. Payments must be made a week in advance either to Community First Bank or through either CASHAPP or CHIME payment apps. Riders who do not pay in advance will be dropped from the program.
Riders who cancel rides less than 24 hours before the ride must still pay for the ride. Riders with multiple ride cancellations will be dropped from the program.
Riders must sign an agreement to waive liability, obey rider rules and work with a coach on a success plan. Riders who do not communicate with their coach, follow rules or meet their success plan will be dropped from the program.
